What are the steps for making an appointment?

Appointment requests are made through 2 main forms of communication –

Email or phone call

Request via email:

 We take the name, contact number and email address and add you to our system

 We send out the appropriate intake form depending on whether it’s for an adult or under 18 years of age.

 Under 18 appointment request – first appointment is for parents only

 The intake form includes contact details and reasons for requesting an appointment. You can fill out what you are comfortable completing and the rest of it then can be discussed in the initial consultation.

 The completed intake form is then passed on to Dr. Patricia Barber to review.

 You are either placed on a waiting list or offered an almost immediate appointment depending on which therapist they are allocated to.

Request via phone call

 We ask if the appointment is for you or a child

 We explain the above process to you/

 We take your details add them to the system.

 First appointment is for parents only if it is for under 18 years old

 We will email you on the intake form

 Once the intake form is received it is passed on to Dr. Patricia to review.

 Once we confirm you are suitable for our services you re placed on a waiting list or

can get an almost immediate appointment depending on which therapist you are allocated to.

 You are then contacted by either email or phone call to advise you of an appointment.
